FASP welcome
We are a volunteer, non-profit organization serving the skiing and snowboarding public since 1938. We provide ski patrol services on Grouse Mountain and Cypress Cross Country (Hollyburn).

See the First Aid Ski Patrol in action

Dear FASPers,

It is with great sorrow that I regrettably inform you that we have lost an invaluable member and to many a close friend.

Marvin Miller, our Grouse mountain supervisor and some would say the organization's invisible hand, passed away last month.

Sincerely,

Bryan Hyndman
President - FASP

Celebration of Life – Marvin Stuart Miller (1950-2014)

A celebration of Marvin’s life will be held on September 21, 2014 at the False Creek Community Centre in Vancouver at 5:30 pm. Come as you are, bring your Marvin stories and share the good memories. Light refreshments will be served.

The False Creek Community Centre is located on Granville Island at 1318 Cartwright Street. There is parking on Granville Island or just off the Island.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Doctors Without Borders/Medecins sans Frontieres (www.msf.ca).

Our main focus is to provide first aid to injured skiers and boarders but our responsibilities are much wider in scope. Risk Management, Safety Operations, Customer Service and Accident Investigation are also part of our duties. In the 'off season' our patrollers provide first aid services and communications/logistics services to various community sporting events around Metro Vancouver.

WE ARE RECRUITING!
